Smoking area

MCO provides designated Orlando International Airport smoking areas outside the terminals, as indoor smoking is banned under Florida law. Look for these spots:

Before Security: Find outdoor smoking zones on Level 1 (Arrivals) and Level 3 (Departures) at Terminals A, B, and C, near terminal entrances. They’re marked with signs and have ashtrays.

After Security: No smoking areas exist past security. To smoke, exit to the outdoor zones and re-clear security, which may take 15-25 minutes.

Indoor vs. Outdoor Smoking Rules

Smoking, including cigarettes and cigars, is prohibited indoors at MCO, covering all terminals, gates, and lounges. Use the outdoor smoking areas to stay compliant and avoid fines. These zones are open-air, with bins for easy disposal.

Vaping and E-Cigarette Rules

Vaping follows the same restrictions as smoking. E-cigarettes are not allowed indoors and are permitted only in the outdoor smoking areas on Levels 1 and 3. Using vapes elsewhere can result in penalties, so stick to designated spots.
